Renovation of Long Point Lighthouse
This summer the Long Point Lighthouse will undergo substantial renovations in a project led by the Twillingate Islands Tourism Association. Upon the completion of the project, planned for late 2010, the Lighthouse will offer tourists much more, including a restaurant that is currently being planned. TITA is currently seeking expressions of interest from consultants to provide final drawings for this exciting project as well as hire a project manager to oversee this renovation project. Advertisements will be placed in The Telegram on February 20, 27 and March 6.
