Boat Tours

Twillingate offers a choice of 5 boat tour operators waiting to show you the amazing coastline and search for whales and icebergs in Notre Dame Bay.  Each tour offers something unique and no visit to Twillingate is complete without a boat tour. Tours operate from their respective wharfs on Main Street and are well marked.

A boat tour will also reveal the startling contrast between rugged coastline and the reflection of many small islands mirrored in the calm water that surround them. Look out for humpbacks, fins, minkes, dolphins, and pilot whales. Harp seals may also be seen in late May, June, or early July. Birds to be seen include murres, sea gulls, black guillemot, terns, shearwaters, and puffins.
